What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 9am.

What are the scheduled hours of play?
Start:  11am.
Lunch: 1pm – 1.40pm
Tea:  3.30pm – 4.00pm
Close:  6pm

Where is the Box Office situated?
The Box Office is situated at gate 5. Once in the ground there is a Box Office is within the ground next to the main reception, Don Robson Pavilion

Where is the main reception situated?
The main reception is situated opposite the main car park, in the Don Robson Pavilion

What is the refund scheme?
Day 1 - 4
If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) no play because the match has been completed - a full refund; (b) 10 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a full refund; (c) 10.1 overs to 24.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  Claims for refunds will be paid by cheque.  To claim your refund simply send this ticket, with the name of the payee, address, postcode and e-mail in block capitals, to A R D Response, Dept P311, PO Box 15, Earl Shilton, Leicester LE9 8WA within 28 days of the Match date

Day 5
For day 5 you will be entitled to a full refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being no play because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Claims for refunds will be paid into the bank account of which you made payment or by cheque if you paid cash. Claims are subject to a £1.50 administration charge per application which will be deducted from your claim. To claim your refund simply send this ticket, with the name of the payee, address and full postcode in block capitals, to Box Office, Durham County Cricket Club, Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground, Riverside, Chester le Street, Co Durham, DH3 3QR.

Are tickets available to be purchased on the day?
Tickets for days 4 and 5 can be bought on gate 5 on a first come first serve basis.
I have tickets to collect, when can I do this?
Tickets will be available for collection from Gate 2 from 9am
What happens if it rains?
If it rains, play can be extended by up to one hour per day, which would mean the close of play could be as late as 7pm. If there are 24.5 overs or less bowled, you will be entitled to a partial or total refund on days 1-4 depending how much play is lost

Is it possible to go out of the ground and come back in?
You are able to walk in and out of the ground via gates 3 and 6. A steward will give you a pass out, please keep this and your match ticket as you will need both of these to regain access.

Is there a cash machine?
Yes there is an ATM machine within Austins Bistro and behind the County Durham stand.

I’ve lost something in the ground, what should I do?
Please report to the main reception of any lost property.

 There is a problem with my seat what should I do?
Please contact the nearest steward or Investec Ashes Maker Volunteer who will be happy to help you.

Can we bring food and drink into the ground?
Food and non-alcoholic drinks only can be brought into the ground.
No glass packaging or cans please. We do operate a search policy and if these items are found you unfortunately we will have to confiscate them. You may however return these items to your car.

Where can I buy a programme/scorecard?
Official programmes and scorecards will be on sale inside the ground at each entrance.

Is smoking allowed?
The Club's No Smoking Policy is as follows - smoking is not allowed in any seats within the stadium. Anyone wishing to smoke will need to go to an uncovered concourse or other open area to the rear of the viewing stands. Smoking is not permitted in any building or in a covered concourse area.

Is car parking available?

Where do we collect food hampers?
The hamper collection point is situated just inside the ground opposite Bannatyne Health club next to gate 4.

What time can we collect food hampers?
Hampers can be collected from 9am – 12noon.

Can I buy a food hamper on the day?
Unfortunately there will be no food hampers to purchase on the day, they must be pre-ordered. Please click here for details.

What food / drink is available within the ground?
There are two core food and drink courts, one situated at each end of the ground.

Travel – Major Roadworks
Please note major roadworks are being carried out on the A1 north of Chester-le –Street. Please allow enough time in your journey for these as we expect lengthy delays.

How do I travel to the ground?

By Car

By Car - Park & Ride
The cost of the Park and Ride service is £3 per car. Park and Ride passes are available on the day at the park and ride site or can be booked in advance through the Box Office on 0844 499 4466.
Durham CCC is operating a Park & Ride service for this match which is located at the LAMBTON ESTATES post code DH3 4PQ.
Please follow the yellow and black signs:
• From A1(M) leave at junction 64.
• From A19 leave at A183 junction.
• From A167 follow signs via A183.

The Park & Ride Car Parks will commence at 8.30am and run until 11.30am and the service will resume 30 minutes prior to close or abandonment of play.

By Public Transport
Bus
Chester-le-Street can be accessed via a number of
bus routes such as:
• From Newcastle and Gateshead every 10
minutes on Angel services 21 and 22
• From Bishop Auckland and Durham every
30 minutes on Angel service 21

Train
A limited number of trains stop at Chester-le-Street station, a fifteen minute walk from the Emirates Durham. A more extensive service operates to Durham station from where Durham CCC will operate a shuttle bus service. A limited shuttle bus service will operate from 8.45am with the full service commencing from 12 noon. The return service will begin operating 30 minutes prior the close of play or abandonment of the game. The cost of this service is £2.00 per single journey and is paid on the shuttle bus.

Other modes of transport
Drop-off and Pick-up Point
The Emirates Durham has a designated drop-off and pick-up point for all cars and taxis.
A road closure may be in place on B1284 Rotary Way immediately play finishes. It is advisable for vehicles to be at the pick-up point approximately 15 minutes before close of play. All vehicles must turn left when exiting from the pick-up point.

Walking
There is a signed pedestrian route from Chester-le-Street town Centre and railway station. Welcome staff from the Club will be positioned on the route to assist spectators and answer any queries.

Cycling

Dedicated cycle racks are available free of charge at the ground. Stewards at the gate will direct any cyclists wishing to use these on the day.
